Jupid TRY IT

Jupid

Jupid is an AI accounting and AI bookkeeping platform for US freelancers and LLC owners. Connect a bank account, Stripe, or QuickBooks, or begin with a CSV file. Jupid imports the transactions, assigns them to accounting categories, and learns how you treat recurring vendors.

The vendor memory is more useful than a generic finance chatbot. If Figma is a software expense in your business, Jupid can retain that context for later transactions. When a payment is unclear, it asks for an answer rather than silently choosing a category. You can respond from the app, WhatsApp, or iMessage.

Bookkeeping tied to US tax forms

Jupid maps business income and expenses to Schedule C lines. It can prepare a Schedule C summary, estimate quarterly federal taxes, flag possible deductions, and support federal and state filing across all 50 states.

That makes the product most relevant to sole proprietors, independent contractors, single member LLCs, and other small US businesses with relatively straightforward books. Its tax workflow is built around the American system, so it has much less practical value for a business filing outside the United States.

You can ask questions in ordinary language, such as how much the business spent on software, what it earned during a month, or whether a transaction may be deductible. Answers use the connected books rather than a general tax prompt. Custom reports can also be generated from questions instead of a fixed report template.

Financial data inside AI assistants

The hosted MCP server connects Jupid to ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Codex, VS Code, Windsurf, and other compatible clients. It provides structured access to accounts, transactions, vendors, reports, and unresolved bookkeeping questions.

Twelve of the thirteen MCP tools are read only. The remaining tool records an answer to a question that Jupid has already raised. It cannot recategorise transactions, edit categories, upload files, or change billing through MCP.

Authentication uses OAuth 2.1, account numbers are masked, and access can be revoked. The selected AI client still receives the requested financial results in its active context. Jupid says it does not independently send MCP data to an AI provider.

The wider Jupid service uses OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Cloud AI for some features, according to its privacy policy. Anyone uploading sensitive financial records should read the current privacy notice, retention terms, and the chosen AI client's data policy before connecting an account.

Filing support and professional review

Current plan information includes AI bookkeeping, tax preparation, quarterly estimates, financial reports, due date reminders, and access to CPA review when needed. Jupid also has white label products for accounting firms, banks, and credit unions.

Jupid states that it is a technology provider rather than a CPA firm; it does not provide legal, accounting, or tax advice. Transaction categories, deductions, estimates, reports, and filing details need human review. If your books involve payroll, inventory, several entities, unusual deductions, international activity, or a complex ownership structure, confirm the work with a qualified accountant.

The company lists SOC 2 Type II certification. That is a useful security control, but it does not remove the need to check account permissions, connected services, retention rules, and who can see financial information.

Pricing and access

The first 100 transactions can be processed free. Continued bookkeeping and tax services require a paid plan. Accountants and financial institutions use custom commercial arrangements.

Jupid is a practical fit when most of your bookkeeping follows a familiar Schedule C pattern and you want to deal with questions in chat. It is less suitable when you need detailed inventory accounting, advanced payroll, consolidated reporting, or complete control over every accounting entry.
