It can also extract text from images, scans, photos, and screenshots. That gives it a practical OCR use case for menus, slides, signs, screenshots, product screenshots, or PDF snippets where retyping the source text would be a waste of time.
There's a freemium plan. There is a free plan with monthly credits and limits on input length, model selection, and model access. Paid plans raise the credit allowance, input size, number of models you can compare, AI model access, and glossary support.
The privacy note is good to see: MixTranslate says translations are not stored on its servers and input is not used for model training.
