Sistava
Sistava lets you assemble AI employees for specific business roles. Available departments include sales, marketing, customer support, operations, research, finance, product, design, and people operations.
You can choose a prebuilt employee, hire a configured team, or define a custom role on eligible plans. Each employee can have its own responsibilities, instructions, tools, model, working hours, and communication style.
Business context comes from uploaded documents, websites, connected applications, and previous conversations. This creates shared business memory across the workspace. Information taught to one employee can become available to the wider team, reducing the need to repeat company details for every task.
How the AI employees work
Sistava is closer to an agent management system than a conventional chatbot. Employees can receive assignments through chat, create task cards, produce documents, keep work journals, and run recurring routines.
The company workspace includes a task board, calendar, CRM, content library, project areas, and shared file storage. Team leaders can divide work between specialist agents and return a combined result.
Current built in abilities include web research, website extraction, image generation, document creation, transcription, meeting summaries, presentations, and short video generation. Generated files are stored in the relevant employee or company Drive.
Tools and communication
Sistava lists integrations for Gmail, Slack, Notion, HubSpot, Jira, Google Drive, Shopify, and many other business applications. Connections use OAuth and can be assigned to individual employees.
Employees can also access external MCP servers, A2A agents, and webhooks. This allows a business to connect specialist tools or existing automations without giving every employee the same permissions.
Live communication options currently include web chat, Slack, Telegram, and employee email addresses. Meeting agents can join Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams calls, produce transcripts, and save summaries afterward.
Some channels described in the full feature inventory, including native voice calls, WhatsApp, SMS, Discord, and Microsoft Teams chat, remain planned rather than generally available.
Oversight and limitations
The phrase “AI employee” should not be taken too literally. These are software agents working inside defined roles. They can misunderstand instructions, use incomplete information, or take an inappropriate action when given excessive permissions.
Sistava includes task histories, activity records, permission controls, and human approval for sensitive actions. A person should still own each workflow, review consequential output, and decide which applications an employee can access.
The public Trust Center documents encryption, tenant isolation, EU hosting, backups, and privacy controls. SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 are listed as work in progress rather than completed certifications. Businesses handling regulated or sensitive information should review the current security documentation before connecting their systems.
Pricing
A free tier is available for exploring the platform. Paid plans increase employee capacity, included credits, workspaces, and administrative controls.
Tasks consume credits according to the model and complexity involved. Compare the current allowances and employee limits on the Sistava pricing page before moving a recurring business process onto the platform.
