Privacy and practical limits
The privacy policy says submitted text is used to generate audio and is not retained beyond a temporary audio cache. OpenAI provides the text-to-speech processing. Read Aloud Reader also uses hashed IP addresses for rate limiting, while account holders have email, plan, and usage information stored.
Do not paste confidential client records, medical information, unpublished contracts, or other sensitive material into any cloud text-to-speech service unless its processing terms meet your requirements.
