Pixley turns a kid's scribbles into their own cartoon. A child draws a character on screen or uploads a photo, and within seconds Pixley animates it. The parent then types in a theme or lesson, something like "sharing with your sister" or "learning fractions," and the app builds a full animated episode starring that character. The kid is the creator and the star at the same time.

The hook is the parent-guided layer. Most kids' video is passive and algorithm-driven, where the app decides what plays next. Here a parent sets the topic, so a five-minute episode can quietly teach empathy, curiosity, or basic math while still feeling like a cartoon the child made themselves. There's also a Character Calling mode where kids can have back-and-forth conversations with their characters about a subject, and a Storyverse library of pre-made Pixley Original episodes (think Benny the Bear and Tigey the Tiger) for when you don't want to build something from scratch.

It's built for ages roughly 2 to 8, and the environment is ad-free with content safeguards, which is the right call for the audience. Pixley is a Y Combinator F25 company founded by Pranit Agrawal and Krish Iyengar, and it picked up over 1,000 families across 75 countries in its first three weeks.
