LANDR combines AI music mastering with tools for composing, editing and releasing music. Its LANDR Studio subscription brings together mastering, production plugins, samples, distribution and collaboration tools for independent musicians and producers.
You can upload a completed mix for online mastering or use the mastering plugin inside your digital audio workstation. The plugin lets you hear the processed result while making changes to your project, without repeatedly exporting files. Standard and Pro editions provide different levels of control. Mastering processes the finished mix, so you should still address recording problems and instrument balance before this stage.
AI music production features
- Stem separation: LANDR Stems extracts vocals, drums, bass and other instruments from recordings. You can audition individual parts and download them for remixing, practice or further editing.
- Instrument generation: LANDR Layers analyzes your track and creates accompanying musical parts. Adjust the performance, compare variations and export audio stems into your project. This is useful when a song needs another instrument but you have not recorded the part.
- Audio cleanup: LANDR ReHance reduces background noise, room reverb and recording bleed in audio.
- Composition assistance: LANDR Composer generates MIDI chord progressions, basslines and melodies, with controls for chord voicings and musical variations.
- Online mastering: Process individual tracks, master an album or use a reference track to guide the sound.
Production and release tools
LANDR Studio also includes sample credits, audio plugins, music distribution, courses and tools for sharing work with collaborators. These support the wider production process, but they are not all AI features. You can develop a track in your existing recording software and use LANDR for specific tasks along the way.
Studio requires a paid subscription. Plugin editions, credits and included services depend on the plan, so check the package against the tools you expect to use.
